Northern Wisconsin

Tourism, Travel & Outdoors Information Network

Thanks to "modern technology," we were able to live and work from a home
and office on a glacial lake in the middle of the Chequamegon National Forest for
fifteen years.

Before constructing our website, we had already been involved with northern
Wisconsin tourism promotion and economic development for more than twenty
years, and we already represented a number of northern Wisconsin tourism clients,
so we knew what a jewel Wisconsin -- and northern Wisconsin in particular -- is!

Our village, Clam Lake (permanent population 140 not counting deer, bear and elk (and
which are far more numerous than people), is about 33 miles northeast of
Hayward, Wisconsin; and 20 miles east of Cable, Wisconsin.

Clam Lake's relevance is mainly to nature and the contents of the Chequamegon
National Forest, including the site of the recent elk reintroduction to Wisconsin;
abundant wildlife -- from bears to deer to wolves to beaver to eagles to loons --
and world-class fishing, hunting, birding, hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling --
and everything in between!

Our main work and play took us all over Northern Wisconsin; into Michigan's
Upper Peninsula; over into Minnesota; and often to Ontario, Canada.

Travel editors and travel writers and columnists call us often -- to find out what's
going on in northern Wisconsin -- and we're flattered that they look to us as their
source of information and advice on where to go and what to do.

As former university journalism instructors (UW-Madison; Colorado State
University, Fort Collins, Colorado; State University of New York at Stony Brook);
current, active correspondents for a number of major newspapers and magazines;
and two-decade business owners, we're happy to help!

Our umbrella business is Creative Brilliance Publicity, P.R. & Strategic Market Communications, full-service advertising and marketing communications. We
serve a variety of clients in both the private and public sectors, locally, regionally,
and nationally.

Naomi holds an M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with studies
abroad. She is an active member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America (OWAA) and Wisconsin Outdoor Communicators and travels the world writing about fishing when she's not doing her stellar publicity work. She has served on the Board of the Cable Natural History Museum; Hayward Civic Golf & Tennis Club; created and published an international magazine for the newspaper publishing industry for ten years; and appears in several "Who's Who's."

Ray has degrees from Colgate University; the University of Chicago; and the
University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an author, lecturer, copywriter and
creative director.
