Lodge at Cedar Creek in Wausau, Wisconsin

Lodge At Cedar Creek

Lodge At Cedar Creek

805 Creske Ave
Wausau, WI 54455

Lodge at Cedar Creek is northern Wisconsin’s largest indoor resort and waterpark. Located just on the south end of Wausau, it is a wonderful place to stop and stay, for fun and relaxation for all ages.

140 luxurious Northwoods-themed suites — and, boy, are those suites sweet! All different kinds and shapes, with lofts, whirlpools, fireplaces, wireless high speed internet, etc. Lots of logging historical memorabilia spread throughout the resort with its huge vaulted log ceilings and great (meaning large) fireplace(s).

There’s a great restaurant in the Lodge’s Saw Mill Grill (you can’t miss the water wheel). Enjoy refreshing cocktails at the timber frame Buzz Saw Bar while relaxing in front of the old stone fireplace. There’s the Bull Whackers Game Room for the kids and Sugar Maples Gift and Starbuck’s Coffee Shop for the adults.

Kids will love tubing down the Rapid Rock River, or sliding down the Cedar Creek Tree House splashing away in the 50,000 square foot log-mill-themed indoor waterpark. Everything is within walking distance of Cedar Creek Mall, restaurants, and minutes from Granite Peak.

Its too bad that your hours of operation for your waterpark is rarely open this time of the year. I would have liked to have gone for a day but not if the waterpark is only open for 4 hours and its over a hundred dollars a night.
